- Long-term legal counsel to Placer Dome, Inc., an important Canadian mining multinational specialized in gold operations. Counsel to the company in connection with the acquisition of large exploration projects and for the development of its interests in Latin America; and in the negotiation, structuring, and drafting of joint ventures (consortiums/venture capital firms), mining assignment and option agreements, as well as the ancillary agreements necessary for the development of its diverse mining properties. Legal support in relation to the US$10.4 billion acquisition of Placer Dome, which resulted in the creation of the largest gold mining company in the world.

- Participated in the establishment of a music recording and publishing company by a leading Spanish language entertainment and communications company in the US. Active participation in its acquisition of a 50% interest in a leading independent Spanish language label based out of Monterrey, Mexico.

- Drafted research, development and supply agreements for a US based company dedicated to the research, development, manufacturing and sale of medical devices. Agreements included supply of collagen-coated stents and related products for their worldwide commercialization.

- Agreements between a U.S. based producer of visual disabilities adaptive technology products and their appointed distributors in Brazil, including license, distribution and marketing agreements for screen reading computer software and related hardware for the blind.

- Marketing, Sales, Agency, Consultant and Distributor agreements for various U.S. and European businesses and their Latin American representatives and business partners.

- Representation of an internationally recognized U.S. firm with extensive expertise in strategic system planning and facility development consulting for corrections, justice, and government administration in various countries, with their successful selection thru public bid to serve as consultant to the Peruvian government in their intended privatization of the prison system in Peru.
